Admission Process

Prospective parents interested in enrolling their child in The Albrook School are encouraged to make an appointment to tour the school prior to submitting an application. You may contact the school at (908) 580-0661 or email Nancy Ponzio at admissions@albrookschool.org to arrange a tour. If you would prefer to attend an Open House, and there is an upcoming one scheduled, you may register online. The Sunday Open Houses are an opportunity to visit the school as a family. All other tours are done without the child in order to allow the parents an opportunity to discuss with the Administrator any questions or concerns they may have.

Albrook Students

After your tour, an application may be completed online. Under the section labeled Application, you will find all forms needed to complete the following steps:

  • Submission of an Application Form and the application fee.
  • Submission of a Parent Questionnaire.
  • Submission of a Recommendation Form from your child's previous teacher.

Once your child's application is complete, you will be contacted by our admissions department to arrange a date and time for your child's interview. There will be a rolling admissions policy, starting in February. In the spring, new applicants will be notified concerning interview determinations. If a child is accepted and a space is unavailable, then the child will be placed on our waiting list. Parents will be contacted if a space becomes available.

Upon acceptance, the next step is to complete the online Registration form. It must be submitted with a non-refundable registration deposit by the date indicated on the acceptance letter; a place for your child will be held until that date.
